This is the second season a few of my outdoor plants have returned as perennials—At least for me, here in North Louisiana it seems like the small-pod C. baccatum are more apt to sprout back in the spring....

This Guampinha de Veado plant is entering its third season. Note the new seedlings in the back:



Last summer I planted this Aji Cristal plant is in my patio bed. Seeds were sent to me CG Baccatum Daddy RedtailForester:

Those overwinters are great, lots of little volunteers in that one. Glad to see ya back.

Thanks LC! I hate to waste those sprouts...I'm way, way overplanted right now, but I think I'll pot those babies up anyway...

I have an old Black Prince in a container that must have 20 or 30 sprouts growing with it...Maybe I'll put them in the flower beds in front of the house...
